Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout getting all the buzz! (Media)

Image
This is an article that I found interesting this morning that I found on www.beernews.org What can I say? I like my brewsky's and like to keep up with what's going on from time to time. Hope you enjoy! (Grand Rapids, MI) - It happens with literally every Founders Brewing limited release. The brewery sends out a beer like Backwoods Bastard a couple weeks early asking that stores hold it until a certain date before making it available for sale. It is akin to buying a 12-year old a Nintendo Wii on Dec. 13 and asking him/her not to open it until Dec. 25 (well, close enough). There is an allure about all of these limited releases and being in the top 50 on the two big beer sites just makes it that much harder to get your hands on. Kentucky Breakfast Stout About this year’s release . . . the beer was not to hit the streets until the weekend of March 15 though at least a few stores made it available even before March 1. Most of the 1,400 cases are still at large though that small num...

WWE scripts it right! (Entertainment)

So last Monday I watched the best episode of Monday Night Raw that I have seen in a long time. It wasn't just part of the show either. The show from beginning to end was great. There were so many great things that happened, so to make things easy I will just go in order with how things happened as they progressed on the show. Raw opened with Edge announcing himself as the new World Heavyweight Champion. After a while John Cena comes out to basically let Edge know he will be "watching" him. The crowd actually seemed somewhat into chanting for Cena too. A friend of mine beliefs Cena should have been put up against Edge a long time ago, and this is what we have been waiting for. So far I would have to agree and personally I am liking the Cena/Edge feud. All of the matches were well done and to make this short I'll jsut post a few of the things that also made Raw great. Priceless picked up another victory. Piper showed up, and Melina retained her title. Now what happened ...

Resident Evil 5 & more (Gaming)

So I have been highly anticipating the upcoming Resident Evil 5 game that comes out March 13th. So far I have played the demo and on a personal perspective I like all of the changes that they have made to the game. It did take a bit of getting use to at first. But after adjusting I now am around 90% that everything was a great change. I'm saving the last 10% for when the game actually comes out, as I am preying the do not mess up the online play. Anyways I don't really have too much to say about the game. I could go on and talk about the storyline but I figured if anyone really wants questions asked its be better to Google, or wiki it. Anyways, this leads me to my "more" part of this post. I decided to post about RE5 in an internet forum I am active in. It started by me trying to find out if anyone else owns a PS3 and if they do, I was wanting to know if they planned on getting RE5 cause I am looking to possible play with people online after it comes out. Well to make...

A second return.

Well I am back yet again due to popular demand! Unfortunately, I will not be making any category updates tonight for I am short on time, and don't wanna half ass any of my updates. So I am simply making a post to say that I will attempt to once again bring gaming updates, criticism, comic relief, and I know it's boring but the occasional news that I find important as it happens. I plan on making a few posts this week, for I already have a few topics that I have in mind that I would like to discuss, and share you you. Here is a list of some of them for you to look forward to. Resident Evil 5, Identity Theft, World Wrestling Entertainment, Celebrity News, Brazil and MMOs, and many more! In addition to my new upcoming posts I will be adding polls for certain topics that I post about for the readers to vote their opinion on. Their will still be a main poll every two weeks, but in addition the topic polls will be added. Look forward to getting my viewers back. Catch you all very soo...

Awating: Diablo 3 (Gaming)

Image
For quite some time now I have been keeping an eye on Diablo 3. For when this game eventually dose come out you may not hear from me for I will have no life once again. I do admit it when it comes to the D series I am something I hate...a fanboy . Unless if something takes a 180 turn and doesn't make sense at all with the story line then I prolly won't get pissed, and will keep supporting this upcoming title. Around two weeks ago I got really exited with the new Wizard class that was released. Somehow, they took the sorceress from Diablo 2 and made it even more l33t. The coolest spell so far I would have to say is the ability to slow time. It seems like it is going to be very useful in game and when in a party as well. Other than that the teleport skill is going to take the coolness factor for me. Not only dose the spell caster still have the ability to move fast but now whenever the Wizard teleports near an enemy the enemy takes damage from the respawn point of the tele...

Smackdown vs Raw 2009 (Gaming)

Well today I received SvR 2009 in the mail today and unlike 2008 so far it doesn't suck total balls. A lot of the animations are used over, but that's sort of understandable since it's still the same type of gameplay, and game engine as 2008. So far though I really like the road to wrestlemania mode instead of the lame @$$ 24/7 mode they had last year. However, I have not been playing it that long but do have one complaint so far, and that's about some of the character "looks". The first time I stepped into the ring with The Miz...I seriously could not tell it was The Miz except for his clothing. Umagas face looks like umaga but his proportions are well a lil' off. I do like all of the new reversals and counters they added in 2009 tho. The only thing I have yet to do that I am also exited about is the create a superstar mode, which I am really exited about this year since you can add your own theme music to your created superstars intro. After day one of S...

Don't forget to vote! (Media)

Well the day is almost here. The day we decide who is gonna attempt to clean up President Bush's mistakes. Anyways just wanted to post a friendly reminder that if you are registered please go out and vote November 4 th (Preferably Barrack Obama) As for the rest of you who are not registered I just don't wanna hear any gripes about anything bad that happens in the future if it does happen. Just think about it I don't know the exact number of Americans that are not registered but I know it's a lot. And for those of you who are not registered it is a combined effort to what you have given' yourselves. I don't really mean to be on the negative side but this year I have went and voted twice so far and the 4 th will be my third time. I estimate after the 4 th it will of only taken 45 minutes out of my life combined. I'm not saying "Be like me" or anything cause that would just make me a dick. Just trying to say don't complain about something you d...
