Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Sorry about the last blog...had nothing to do with IGZ (I just needed to vent) and sadly if I posted it on Facebook I would be burned on a torch. (really sad) Anyways, where I have been and what game I have primarily been playing! So I no longer play WoW and have settled into a new MMO know as FF14:ARR and so far it has been quite fun. The PvP is 10 times better, the dungeons are fun however they are quite lengthy...and you don't have to be a l33test jerk to do end game content! They also plan to add mini games such as a card game, Chocobo races. & more with a Gold Saucer implementation in the near future. They also just released a marriage system for couples who play together in game. I posted a few pictures below. Currently the information states that ceremony registration starts this Friday @ 4am server time, but you can complete the "couples" quest and get the clothing now. I am sure this will add a neat new feature to the game but I do not know if they will...

Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout getting all the buzz! (Media)

This is an article that I found interesting this morning that I found on www.beernews.org What can I say? I like my brewsky's and like to keep up with what's going on from time to time. Hope you enjoy! (Grand Rapids, MI) - It happens with literally every Founders Brewing limited release. The brewery sends out a beer like Backwoods Bastard a couple weeks early asking that stores hold it until a certain date before making it available for sale. It is akin to buying a 12-year old a Nintendo Wii on Dec. 13 and asking him/her not to open it until Dec. 25 (well, close enough). There is an allure about all of these limited releases and being in the top 50 on the two big beer sites just makes it that much harder to get your hands on. Kentucky Breakfast Stout About this year’s release . . . the beer was not to hit the streets until the weekend of March 15 though at least a few stores made it available even before March 1. Most of the 1,400 cases are still at large though that small num...

Don't forget to vote! (Media)

Well the day is almost here. The day we decide who is gonna attempt to clean up President Bush's mistakes. Anyways just wanted to post a friendly reminder that if you are registered please go out and vote November 4 th (Preferably Barrack Obama) As for the rest of you who are not registered I just don't wanna hear any gripes about anything bad that happens in the future if it does happen. Just think about it I don't know the exact number of Americans that are not registered but I know it's a lot. And for those of you who are not registered it is a combined effort to what you have given' yourselves. I don't really mean to be on the negative side but this year I have went and voted twice so far and the 4 th will be my third time. I estimate after the 4 th it will of only taken 45 minutes out of my life combined. I'm not saying "Be like me" or anything cause that would just make me a dick. Just trying to say don't complain about something you d...

Hobby sends man back to jail (Media)

This morning while driving to work, I was listening to the radio and herd a story that caught my attention. Apparently there was a man that was just released from prison after being in there for fifteen years for murdering his wife, and now he is being sent back to prison after being caught with a rifle while hunting. The man was banned from having possession of a gun and obviously broke the rule. Although this man did murder someone I felt sorta bad for him being put back in the slammer for trying to enjoy one of his hobby's. Maybe I am just sorta demented in that way, but it just seemed a little extreme. I know they are trying to prevent another possible murder, but you would have thought his house would have been cleaned of that before hand and maybe even put on house arrest. The man now has to serve 3 to 12 more months in jail. I don't know the story behind this guy but I just wanted to express my thoughts on it. Yes he should have been punished for breaking the ruling give...

The Presidential Debate Thus Far (Media)

I don't know how many of you have been keeping up with the presidential debate but last night was well one word "wow". Especially for McCain which impressed no one at all. Tell me if I am wrong but isn't a debate supposed to be about what you are going to do as the next President of the United States instead of trying to act like an 8 th grader and pick a fight with the opposing side. There were so many times during the debate where Senator McCain made senseless oppositions against Senator Barack Obama and in the long run just made himself look like a fool. I understand everybody is not into politics and can not give a rat's ass so to speak. But if McCain gets his way and somehow tricks the public into choosing him over Obama then all we have done is selected a "War Monger" as our new President of the United States. Another fact that bothered me is how when they were both asked questions on matters at hand not once did Senator McCain actually answer ...
